These terms govern your use of the White & Wed website and the hire of our wedding props. Please read them before you book. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
White & Wed is a trading name of UniMove. Our business address is Plover Barn, Kings Lane, Longcot, SN7 7SS. You can reach us at [email protected]. In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean UniMove trading as White & Wed, and "you" means the person making the booking.
2. What we provide
We hire luxury wedding props for events. Our current prop is a lacquered white baby grand piano. Hire is available on Saturdays and Sundays. The hire price for the white baby grand piano is £999 for the day and is all-inclusive. It covers delivery to your venue, professional on-site tuning, a full day's hire and collection by our team after your event.
3. What is included
- Delivery of the prop to your venue on the hire date.
- Positioning of the prop at your venue.
- Professional on-site tuning of the piano.
- A full day's hire on the date you have booked.
- Collection of the prop from your venue after your event.
Anything not listed above is not included in the hire price.
4. Booking and payment
Bookings are made online through this website. Payment is taken by card through Stripe, our payment provider. You complete payment on Stripe's secure page. We do not see or store your full card number.
A deposit of 50% of the hire price is taken at the time of booking to confirm and secure your date. For the white baby grand piano this deposit is £500. The remaining balance of £499 is due before your event and is invoiced 14 days before the event date. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
If the balance is not paid by the due date we may treat the booking as cancelled. Where we cancel a booking because the balance has not been paid, the deposit is non-refundable, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Availability and dates
Hire is offered on Saturdays and Sundays only. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. A date is only held once your deposit has been received. We make reasonable efforts to keep the online calendar accurate, but availability shown on the site is subject to confirmation at the point your deposit is taken.
6. Your responsibilities
So that we can deliver and collect safely and on time, you agree to:
- Provide accurate booking details, including the correct venue address, date and contact information.
- Make sure there is safe and reasonable access to the delivery and collection location, including suitable routes, doorways and floor surfaces for moving the prop.
- Tell us in advance about anything that affects access, such as stairs, lifts, narrow entrances, long carries or parking restrictions.
- Make sure the prop is kept in a safe, dry, indoor environment during the hire and is not exposed to weather, food, drink or other risks of damage.
- Make sure the prop is available and accessible for collection at the agreed time.
You are responsible for any loss of or damage to the prop while it is in your care that goes beyond fair wear and tear, where that loss or damage is caused by you, your guests, your venue or your suppliers.
7. Access and delivery
If we cannot deliver or position the prop because access is unsafe or materially different from what you described, we will do what we reasonably can to help, but we may not be able to complete the delivery. In that situation the hire may be treated as cancelled by you, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
8. Care of goods and insurance
We handle every prop with care. The piano is transported in fitted protective covers and moved by our own team. The prop is insured while it is in transit with us. This cover applies to the prop itself during our transport and does not extend to your venue, your guests or any third-party property. Nothing in this clause limits your responsibility for the prop while it is in your care under clause 6.
9. Our liability
We will carry out the hire with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity or other indirect or consequential loss.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with a booking will not exceed the total hire price you have paid for that booking.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, accidents, road closures or vehicle breakdown. If such an event happens we will contact you as soon as we can and work with you to reschedule or, where that is not possible, to arrange a fair outcome.
10. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are dealt with in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Your personal data
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on this website when you place that booking. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to them is subject to the courts of England and Wales.
